Yesterday, we were expecting to see a photo of our little girl, but it didn't come. I woke up at 1:30 this morning (I have had pneumonia this week, and well, sleep is off an on) to find 3 photos in my inbox. What a blessing!
The eyes on our little girl remind me a lot of some photos of Jett that we received early in his adoption process. They are so sad and so far away. I wanted to grab her and hug her and never let her go.
Because we haven't seen her yet, I'm not including her sweet face. But, trust me, the eyes are telling a story all by themselves. Just wanted you to get a sneak peak too!

Looking at Jett's smiling face and eyes now, can't help but think it won't be long before Elly's eyes will reflect the same. Praying that the Lord begins a healing work in her heart now....

I remember those sad eyes from Eden's first pics, too. It's hard to look at them now, isn't it? Praying for you...so happy for you!
